Its 9/23/2005 at 4:42 and I just heard the first several branches fall from the trees.
I will try and post the events of hurricane rita as they happen, from 50 miles north of down town Houston.

So far, I have moved all of the furniture around, flown my wife and duaghter out of state, and filled the bathtub with water (for flushing). I have enough supplies.

The neighbors are all staying as well. But I will be here alone.
I'm not scared, but I am anxious.
