Well strap in folks... Cause for the next dozen or so blog entries your gonna follow me around the globe while I show you all of the pictures I took from my travels around the world in 05!

So grab some clean socks, a good digital camera, a pack of chewing gum, GPS, and some Immodium and get ready for...

Trey´s Travels 2005
A retrospective

enjoy the flight!

A great shot at dusk along Thymes River...

I was staying near London Bridge - which for the uninitiated is an area of London, not a bridge...
The bridge you see in all of the pictures is the Tower Bridge....

Whilst visiting merry ole England,..

I took snaps of "Big Ben" clocktower in London, England, near the Thymes River.

Another great place!

The Taj Mahal in Agra India--

This place is more fantastic than one could imagine...

Designed and built to show the love for one woman, the wife of Shah Jahan who died in childbirth. He brought to Agra the most skilled craftsmen from all Asia and even Europe, to build the white marble mausoleum that is the Taj Mahal.

This was an incredible experience!

Yep, that's me standing next to Barbar the elephant!

In Agra India just before going to the Taj Mahal...

Note the cool outfit in this picture and the one before.... Very comfortable...

(I´m actually wearing it right now!)

Just hanging out with some of the local guys...

Everyone is more than excited to get in the picture!

Besides, I said I was Robert Deniro´s son Fredo!
(never take sides against the family Fredo, cause its pretty dammed lonley out there in the row boat!).

Outside a palace in New Delhi India!

Note the similarities to the Taj!

Although very nice (and not nearly as crowed) this place doesn´t hold acandlel to the Taj Mahal!

Of all things to do when your in China.....

You must drink lots of shots of Maotai and shout "gan bei" which literally means "dry glass." or Wen Lie!

And chase it down with a couple dozen Chinese beers and some good ole fashion bowling!

Napoleon Bonaparte Emperor of the French!

Funny enough, right after I took this picture a girl from Canada asked me if Napoleon was really that tall....

I responded...

I guess when someone is making a statue of you, you can ask to be as tall as you´d like...

(or threaten to have the guys head on a stick never hurts either)...

Above is the tomb of Napoleon at the Esplanade des Invalides....

Taken from across the street and down a bit from the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

I had just finished having lunch, and was walking around listening to JIMMY BUFFETT - GOD'S OWN DRUNK on my MP3 player and enjoying the scenery,... I am such a Gringo!

You´ve got to have a couple of big beers to keep warm in Paris.

Having lunch in Pigalle (the red light district) in Paris, across from the Moulin Rouge.

Very interesting place.... If you know Brent... ask him how much a beer costs in Pigalle,.. and you'll hear a great story!

Standing near the Arch des Triumph in Paris...

Near the Champs Des Elysees...

Looking for the Griswalds on the round about... (traffic circle)...

A quick shot form outside the Louvre in Paris France!

This place was incredible!

Until this point I though the Smithsonian was the best place in the world to spend a week or two wandering around... this is defiantly an awesome destination!

Relaxing after a hard day... with an insanely early wakeup call.... (flying out to Paris)

At the Hilton Dubai Creek... Dubai UAE-

At 350 USD per night this is one fantastic hotel...

I could get very used to this!

Driving by a Mosque in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The UAE is a great place! I've really enjoyed every visit.

The gold souks (markets) were great!

And the food is fantastic!

Here was the view while laying in my bed at the hotel, looking out onto the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! At the time this was the largest building(s) in the world!

Very Impressive!

Well look at this Cajun....

Here I am in , in no other than the Forbidden City in Beijing China.
This place is amazing... After visiting here I am determined to renaim one of our meeting rooms at the office to 'The Hall of Central Harmony´.... (yea,.. right)...

With Chairman Mao looking on in the distance, this child of the military industrial complex visits Tiananmen Square, in the last large bastion of Communism,... Beijing China

no little guys with briefcases were harmed in the making of this photo....

Trey conquers the Great Wall of China!

It was a very very cold day on the wall... One of the most amazing places I have been.
As you look out on to its vast extent, it is unbelievable that this was built so long ago...

Going down a 2 story ice slide at the Lantern Festival In Beijing China
It was cold... but awesome!

And yes.. it was made entirely of ice (with some Neon inside)

Lantern Festival In Beijing China
This was really incredible,.. You cannot believe how large this ice city was!

Don't see this back home in Louisiana!

Me and a couple of the guys fooling around in the Narita Japan Airport on our way to China!
The General though it would be funny for me to have my own wings... and Muller didn´t know where the hell we were going!
Then again, neither did any of the rest of us!

Standing near a Mosque & Museum in Doha Qatar...
Just finished a lunch at a local streetside shop!

The weather there was fantastic... it was unusually cool for that time of year, and very very pleasant!

Sitting along 'The Cornish' in Doha Qatar.
Note the cool wooden framed boats in the background!

Great place!

Too dammed cold for this Cajun in Calgary Alberta, Canada..
It was like 30 below... But hey.. they had great steaks and good beer eh!

Outside the Palais des Congrès de Montréal!

Great town!

In Mexico City, Mexico with the Angel of independence on Reforma Street!

Here we are in Boston (This is the last post if your reading them in order)....

I was here meeting the development team I work with from Cardiff Wales...

The irony of being in Boston with several Brits was not lost on this happy-go-lucky Cajun boy!

Once again, Its been a crazy year... lots of traveling... looking forward to an exciting 2006!

Well folks,.. thats the end of our flight... I hope you enjoyed the trip as much as I did...

Get out there and see the world... its a pretty cool place!

Well just a couple of more days till 05 is done and 06 is a go! What a heck of a year! I plan on doing a year in review (in pictures) later tonight--- What can I say... Life is going pretty good, P, Ana, Baby 2.0 and Bosc are all runnin and gunnin! I´m south of the boarder visiting the fam down here, and enjoying the great weather andwonderfull scenery!
