Greetings. I'm back from a one week ban for a tackle from behind, taking myself too seriously (see my previous post) and, moreover, momentarily thinking that others may accidentally take me seriously too.

But enough about them, let's talk about me: I generally have my most lucid moments at lunch time, when there's little chance of them positively impacting my work. Today, I spontaneously uttered "verbize" which, I subsequently realized, is a near-perfect word because it is virtually self-defining. Naturally, I'm not the first person to think of it: Google turns up a few hits like this verbize reference but it's not as widespread as it should be. So let's go people, light a fire under the stuffed-shirts at the OED, verbize things endlessly, and lets see if we can't get the word into the 2007 edition of their lexicon.

Moral inconsistency alert: Capital punishment is OK in this country unless the offender is mentally retarded - On the other hand, killing sea creatures is OK unless they are exceptionally intelligent. Hmmm....
