Okay, Okay I know it's been a while, no excuses just sheer idleness :-(

When I saw this though I just couldn't resist. So the current fad around and about seems to be Skype which I use a lot, but one thing I thought it was missing is voice mail (well Skype are working on it but so far nothing). The I came across this Pamela which is an add on voice mail system. Neat eh? The only thing I had to be careful so was to make sure that the wife knew that I was talking about program when I said how great Pamela was...

So hopefully not such a long gap next time.

China has a saying,.. you cannot be a real man unless you come to China and walk on the Great Wall.... Although I am not sure about that, I can tell you it was an amazing experience

Well well the weary traveler finally writes in!!!

For those of you keeping score the places I have visited on this trip (A denotes at least a walk around the air port, N denotes staying at least one night):

Tokyo Japan -A
Beijing China -N
Badaling China -N
Karachi Pakistan -A
Kuala Lumpur -N
Abu Dhabi -N
Dubai -N
Paris -N

I will be posting TONS of pictures, from the frozen ice city and the great wall in China, to the markets of KL, to amazing and modern building of Dubai & Abu Dhabi to the historical beauty of Paris,...

I am in Paris for 4 'extra' days before the conference, because I could not arrange my Russian visa in time (which was very unfortunate, I would love to see Moscow!).

After Paris I head on to Gatwick England, and then back to Houston for bit. Then off to Mexico City for the 'final show'.

Most of the trip has been exceptional! Its not often a young man from southwest Louisiana gets a chance to see this much of the world except maybe on a aircraft carrier, and I assure you this is a lot more fun.

I have completely acclimated to travel... I have no idea what day or time it is (nor do I care - I think its about 4:15 AM in Paris as I type), I just need to know when they need me to stand up and present, and when the next flight is!

The joke around the campfire is that we had been on the road so much it is like being in a way-to-long-run boy band! (all smiles of course)...

Well that's all for now folks! I will post again whilst in Paris....
