Hello kids, my name is Matt Foley, and I live in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!
Bruce Dickinson (Yes,.. the Bruce Dickinson) "Guess what... I got a fever and the only prescription... is more cowbell."
You can never really have enought SNL quotes... cause..." Babies, babies. By the time I'm done with you, you will all be wearing gold plated diapers."
Scene from Celeberity Jeopardy...
Sean Connery: I'll take "The Rapists" for $100.
Alex Trebek: That's "therapists", not "the rapists".
Here is wishing Mary-Kate & Ashley a happy 18th b-day! So.. ladies... How You Doin?!?!
Now a line showing the true love between a man and woman.... (From Pulp Fiction 1994)
Butch: Will you hand me a towel, tulip?
Fabienne: Ah, I like that. I like tulip. Tulip is much better than mongoloid.
And from the classic: Redneck Zombies (1987)
Billy-Bob/Ellie May: I'm-a goin' fishing now.
Junior: Ain't you got worms?
Billy-Bob/Ellie May: Yeah, but I'm going anyway!

Memorable Quote
"Life is filled with things that you just can't predict. Ned Beatty goes on a rafting trip in "Deliverance," winds up getting sodomized by hillbillies. Eddie Murphy stops to give a girl a ride home, turns out she has a bigger schlong than he does. One night you go out for McDonald's and accidentally hack your ex-wife and Ron Goldman to death. These things happen. The point is that things can change 180 degrees in a split second."
-Peter Dragon TV Series "Action" made it 13 episodes before being canceled...
A moment of blog silence for Ron & Ray.... Ronald Reagan & Ray Charles... may you both rest in peace...

Well I'm home today.. we are taking our final look at the 'Trey-be' today before we see he/she for the -first- time in August. Tisha & I just got back from walking Bosco the dog,.... we ran into a couple of our neighbors (this place is awesome),... Its a drippy day, kinda reminding me of Brussels (the attached picture is from a similar drippy day in Brussels last year - I was there for a big meeting - and this was a great cafe on the street). Anyway... later today I go to my GP to have my back looked at.. I am so much looking forward to not hurting every morning... Anyway... blog you this afternoon.... t-ray out

Morning,..
Still have a killer of a back ache.. going on my 4th or 5th day.. I've got an appointment tomorrow with the doc to see what the heck is going on...
Someone asked my if I had tried someone walking on my back.. I said no, but I would throw myself into traffic if I thought it would help...
don't want to bring you all down... I'll see if I can post some funny/strange stuff today, to being everyone's (even my) spirits up...
Your truly (with the smell of ice hot patches on his shoulders)... Trey

me and my aching back are gonna limp down to the van... and hopefully feel a bit better... adios
Copyright Forknworld 2004
ouch.... I tell ya my back is really killing me..
the pain relievers I am taking are not even begging to work well..
I am almost too much pain to concentrate at all...
This really sucks... I'm just glad I don't have to drive back to the house this afternoon. I might even have tish pick me up at the van drop off....
It feels like I got into a really bad rear-end collision...
Ok, now I am trying to get my mind off of this and on to something else...
Did any of you see the season finally of the Sopranos last night... I though it was a bit weak.
I was expecting them to go to the mattresses, and all out war... with tons of people dropping... instead he off's his cousin.
BAM - Bye bye Buscemi (shotgun to the face) ** Sorry for being so graphic **
It was too funny to see Johnny Sacks slip face down into the snow whilst being chased by the feds...
One spin on the whole episode,.. if Tony had waited just a day or two longer, Johnny would be in Jail and Tony
Blundetto (The cousin) would not be at room tempature...
Ok.. Enough of the gangster world.. now back to my happy shiny back-ache...
UGH
Good Monday!
Well its just after lunch and the week is starting out OK... Just the normal madness.
My back is killing me... And this is going on 4 days.. I'm on a couple of pills (thank god I'm not driving) but it still hurts pretty bad... may take the opportunity to got o the doc on Wednesday..
Anyway... no rest for the wicked...

YAHOO!!! (no, not the search engine for all you techno geekophiles!)
Good news! A good friend of mine just emailed me and told me that she is getting married...
These two are both Parrot-heads (as I am), she is a former co-worker of mine who was smart/fortunate enough to continue life's journey and end up on the sunny west coast,... And although I have only met him briefly, I know from her, (and from how happy she's look on they few opportunities that I have the chance to see her since she has left) he's a great guy!
So,.. congrats Susan & Dave!! All the best!

Hope I keep you entertained... And have a great Sat night!
Well another GDMA,.. if you don't know what that is... then your not in my position.
I am sure things will get better, but it wears ya thin sometimes...
Imagine that me... thin...
HA!
Anyway.. I am going to try to salvage the best of this day... Maybe run down to Houston to catch up with my Friend Brent and see what he is doing...
If you know how to get in touch with me and feel like getting together for some drinks, pool, etc.. let me know!
later...

I recommend Bistro Le Cep (or something like that) I strongly recommend the Bouillabaisse (seafood soup).
My sister in law Anna will be here through saturday, so we have a bit more time to visit.
I hope the weather keeps up!
No camera phone today, so we might not see any pictures, but ya never know..
